I've been to RES several times in USU gear (son is a student) and it is a very different experience than going in BYU gear. We rode TRAX to RES for the last UU/USU game and we had no incident even though the train was almost entirely red. People even laughed when I commented that I had a nightmare like this once. In BYU gear however, I have had people in my face with all kinds of verbal attacks on multiple occasions. I can live with that but I have witnessed the team be pelted with snow and ice chunks by more than just a few people and with mini-bottles back in that era. I pretty much lost it at one of those games. I know that BYU fans are not without fault but I haven't ever seen it get to this level at LES.
