This would be a great post if our schedule had proven to be as tough as we....
thought it would be going into this season.

Unfortunately the reality is BYU played a very mediocre schedule where BYU beat only 2 teams that have a winning record and only 1 of this season's opponents is currently in the top 25.

Here's the reality; BYU finished 1-3 against P5 Programs this year in spite of the fact that 2 of the 4 P5 programs we faced finished the year with losing records. It doesn't help our quest to be considered a P5 program when we can't beat a team like Missou that managed only 1 SEC win this year.

Coupled with this, BYU had UCLA on the ropes and decided to settle for an FG rather than push for the end zone. If your program is built around the premise of holding your opponents to 24 points or less and in turn scoring more than 24 points, why do you allow the O to play it safe and settle for an FG which gives BYU only 23 points? Doesn't that go against one of the fundamental principals of Bronco's Program?
