I guess it's true, you only see what you want to see.
I was at the game and even the Aggie fans knew BYU's offense was a lot more potent every time they were on the field. USU was getting lucky with big plays that weren't sustainable and BYU would and could easily put a stop to them. My nephew plays for USU on defense and knew going into the game how hard it would be stop BYU's offense and after the game he said it was even harder than he had anticipated.

He also claimed the adjustments BYU made at half time, completely caught them off guard and stated "BYU simply out coached us in the second half"

For me I thought your perspective was entertaining as to what could a fan come up with, that no one else could possibly concoct as to why the game played out the way it did.
