So really your beef is their decision to not sell caffeinated drinks. Maybe
by "no demand" they mean that due to the lack of competition in their particular market place, the BYU campus, there is no business demand that requires them to sell caffeinated drinks. Such an interpretation would be consistent with both integrity and honesty. It still wouldn't get you the result you want, or I would like, but I won't be getting worked-up by BYU leadership over it.
