If you force yourself to use cash because you're afraid of your own spending habits, you're just trying to circumvent the root cause of the issue instead of resolving the issue itself. I'd say cash only is great for teenagers, especially as they're trying to build up these basic skills, but after a certain point you should grow out of that phase.
