Both of the credit cards I mentioned have CASH BACK. It's CASH, not giftcards to amazon. There's no micromanaging whatsoever going on. I have two credit cards; I choose to pay with one or the other. Both are housed on the same website and I easily pay them both within about 30 seconds, literally. No change in spending habits, no micro managing, no hassle. The only commitment is spending 30 seconds to pay off the credit cards each week. If that's too complicated or gives you a headache, so be it. Whether or not I use credit cards, I always track my expenses on mint.com, which is extremely helpful. $350/year in rewards for virtually nothing? I'll take that deal any day of the week.
