for bonus categories, which are usually Gas, Restaurants, and other frequent purchases. They also offered 10% cash back at Amazon and other retailers during the holidays.

My other card is the Amazon credit card (also sponsored by Chase). They offer 3% on Amazon (which I frequent) and 2% at restaurants, gas stations, groceries, etc. These two categories are basically 95% of my spending each month.

I just use the Freedom card whenever I'm making a purchase that would qualify for the 5% bonus category, otherwise I use the Amazon card.
