Really good point...an improved credit score is another huge benefit.

I'm only two years out of school and I'm fortunate enough to have a credit score just above 800. And it's because my parents had me get a credit card as soon as I turned 18 and taught me how to properly use it. This will literally save me thousands when I'm ready to buy a home.
