Well isn't that the catch? Sure credit cards are great. They allow you to buy things, while getting cash back and building solid credit. But the problem lies in making payments on your card each month. Not too big of deal until people get that second, third, fourth, fifth, sixth, seventh "free money" card.
Free money is great. If everyone had as great of financial sense and responsibility as you then yeah Ramsey would be wrong. But they don't, and sometimes the only thing that saves them is to get rid of the cards. They become as addicting and damaging as drugs and alcohol.
