The small gym size isn't that big of a deal. It's the fact that most of the small gyms are almost completely empty.
The schools have 6,000 to 8,000 students enrolled, and then, student sections with 10-20 students at their games. That's terrible. Why aren't they getting more people out to the games? Don't the students like the basketball games? Are the all foreign exchange students or something?
Also, how come the league is so top heavy? In BYU's old league, the MWC, even bad schools like Wyoming, AFA, and Colorado State are very good every few years, and are at the top of the conference. The WCC has none of that. Its only ever BYU, Saint Mary and Gonzaga. The bottom schools are never good and never make the tourney. Why?
If those 2 problems improved, BYU fans would have nothing to complain about with the WCC .
