Yes, please understand that many of us are embarrassed by the under-belly of our
own fanbase, but they are not the sensible and respectful fans, or the majority. They're often a bunch of entitled and spoiled millenials who have yet to experience real adversity in their lives, and who complain about everything that they don't see as perfect for them in their naive and inexperienced world, all the while doing it behind an anonymous computer screen and username.

Please accept our apologies for these pitiful representations of our fanbase. Your post was very respectful and well taken by most reasonable BYU fans. We certainly have no business belittling any of the WCC because of gym size or any other perceived short-comings for any reasons. That would be true even if we were dominating the conference, which we have not done. But, this is especially true with the Zags outplaying us on the national scene most years, and with storied programs like USF and LMU, teams like Santa Clara, who have had some great seasons, and produced NBA greats like Steve Nash, and others, as well as great up and coming programs like St Mary's and the rest of the WCC, who were gracious enough to let us in when we needed a home. And, even without these facts, there is just no place for any "we're bigger than you are" talk. What we should be thinking is how good teams like Gonzaga and St. Mary's have made the whole conference look, including us, when they beat good OOC teams, and we should be cheering them on as they do, as it elevates the whole conference. Here's hoping we can contribute by doing our own elevating the next few years, as our team is looking to be very competitive in the near future. No offense, but we truly hope to beat up on the Zags this year. Why? Because they have been the class of the conference, so everyone wants to beat them. Good Luck this year!
