Gym smack is kind of like driving a sports car or buying a very large tool box.
It is used to compensate.

When BYU starts winning the WCC, and consistently, we can start acting like we deserve something better. IMO, we should keep our mouths shut until we prove otherwise. Scoreboard. So I agree with you.

That being said, I don't think anyone is referring to the Kennel as a high school gym - most of the rest of the conference, yes, but not the Kennel. No one thinks that. It isn't a high school gym...and it isn't empty. Do Zags fans ever get frustrated with the lack of quality in the rest of the conference? I think part of it is the frustration of being treated as an also ran, "a mid major" when it is obvious to anyone, that is simply not true. BYU is a better program than approximately 1/2 of the P5. We are not "mid-major" and that title is very frustrating. I think some of the comments come from this frustration...that we deserve better.

Next - I really enjoy the WCC. I think the Zags are a class act and represent the conference well. I am proud to be a fellow conference member. However, I do agree with your coach when he called out all but the WCC big 3 and told them to get their !#@$ together (like always, in a classy way). I love Mark Few and I hope he never leaves you. I feel fortunate to be in the WCC and that they allowed us in when we needed them.

Keep coming around here. I enjoy other's perspectives and when there is dialogue, my guess is that 95% of the CBers appreciate the exchange and we all just have to ignore the 5% who are power tools that drive sports cars and own very large too boxes...as well as those that have the intestinal fortitude of a castrated Chihuahua - all generally self identified....
