My problem is 100% with the environments, of course gonzaga and st. Mary's are great but after that if falls off pretty
Hard. It's more the high school atmosphere vs the sizes of the gyms themselves. This is the reason I'd still rather play basketball in the mountain west where fans hated us going in to places like the pit or the Thomas and Mack or even the hell hole that is laramie. Honestly I'd love a new conference that included some of those teams along with gonzaga and st Mary's just for bball. It will never happen of course but those are my thoughts.
