It is my belief that because of BYU's limitations, such as the honor code, they will have a hard time getting more than a handful 4 5 Star recruits in any given year.. They have to identify and mine those hidden gems that others don't see. There is no doubt as to why Alabama is near the top of the rankings every single year. When the majority of your class consist of four and five-star recruits you're just going to have more depth.

But I think you're also ignoring the article written that I posted that showed it only nine of the 44 players who started in the Super Bowl were 4 or 5 Star recruits
