I think that everything you said makes sense and the piece that made the Utah defenses special was that the coaching staff took raw material and turned them into outstanding players. I can't speak to if that was cultural or a function of the way the staff worked, but the net was that players came into the program raw and grew into the dominant dline that we got owned by over and over.

I sincerely hope that Tuiaki and Co. have the ability to grow the players year over year....instead of watching so many players stagnate on the roster like we saw in years before.
