I was probably one of 10 white people some of those folks had ever seen in their life (this is obviously not the same scale as JW would have experienced but you get the point). That's going to happen when you're in an environment where you are a minority. Didn't bother me or make me think the people were racist or anything. It just is what it is. Obviously I'm for all types of people from all over the country and world being at BYU. But as long as any group is less-represented there will be some of that.
