Obviously not everyone who has premarital sex or drinks gets into trouble.

But I'm guessing that avoiding those vices could have saved millions of individuals from a lifetime of heartache and pain. Do you know anyone who had to drop out of high school to raise a child? Do you know anyone who has struggled with alcoholism? Failure to see that seems odd to me.

So yeah, when the author of the bleacherreport article mocks these values, but cannot connect that failure to live these principles could lead to the very problems he's discussing, it's ironic.
