You're either being intentionally obtuse or you don't get it.
It's not about "drinking and partying" and it's not about whites vs minority cultures.
It's about a general disregard for traditional family values and the actions/decisions that result from bad choices. Stories like Neal's don't usually start with 1 generation(though drugs often have a way of speeding up the process) It's a breakdown over time with many contributing factors.
You might not see it the same way and there's always a more PC way to say something but to pretend he doesn't have a valid point here so you can call out judgements mormons isn't productive or helpful.
