That could happen on a smaller scale
I could certainly see BYU and Gonzaga going in the Olympic sports bringing the AAC to 14 (Navy is football only) for that and BYU getting a scheduling deal. The AAC would love to add Gonzaga for hoops and with BYU as a travel partner, it might be attainable. To me this is the best possible scenario outside of P5 status. It would be great to have that scheduling agreement filling up the second half of October and November.
