The top G5 teams are as relevant today as they ever were.  It is not much different than the BCS era, maybe even better access.  It would be hard to keep an undefeated G5 team out of the playoff, in favor of a 2 loss team.  I agree it may happen, but there would be a lot conversation about it.  Houston would have been in the playoff had they not imploded.  The access is there if you win, no different then our Indy schedule right now.  I want G5 for better basketball, a conferenc title to play for and more exciting games mid october through the end of the season.  You can call me a troll or crazy or whatever you want for that opinion, but a lot of people on this board and in the athletic department agree with me.
