what stinks is there are almost no options...
...the MWC would be a tough landing spot after we left them. Even though Utah left first I'm sure nobody in the MWC cares that they left but they'll grind multiple axes over BYU leaving. Also, they still have a lousy TV deal with most of their games on a hard to view CBS satellite channel. And also the conference is still full of some really bad teams.
About the only other decent conference out there in G5 land is the AAC and it seems a decent enough conference but I don't know how much better their TV deal is than the MWC nor if they'd be flexible enough to allow us some autonomy with our rebroadcasting of games.
