i believe the inverse is also true. take me for instance: i no longer go to church or even consider myself lds. i drink and have liberal views. yet because i was raised watching cougar football, they will forever be my team. i think there are a lot of apostates such as myself that wouldn't be counted in the "mormon demographic" that still follow the cougs. i have many friends and relatives that are in the same boat.
