agreed. stereotypical fans ruin potential
experiences for fence-sitter mormons that could become fans. i heard a very similar story yesterday from a lds kid from texas that was provo in '06 when byu played tcu. he apparently was indifferent at the game but cheered for tcu because he's from ft. worth ridiculed by byu fans. he said ever since then he hates byu.
