I like to think I'm a very level-headed BYU fan, and I've got buddies and family who go/went to the U, and/or are Ute fans. Anyway, it just bugs me when people say they respect BYU or think it's fine, etc., but then add phrases like "would never send my kids there." I think it comes across as arrogant and belittling, even if it's not meant that way.

I certainly love my Cougs and am glad I went to the Y, but I'd happily let my kids go wherever they choose. We're talking two schools with elite level education, and great athletic programs as well.
