Wrong. That is not what I meant. At all.
Don't suggest that BYU wouldn't do the exact same thing Utah is, if they were in the same situation.
They would.
Fact is, they have. Look at the BYU schedule. They locked down a series of very weak games and then try and get some very good games, which they have done a nice job with. It's about balance. No team has tough games from front to back.
Utah respects BYU as a program and wants it to work but it just may not given our respective goals, etc.
Utah will be very competetive in the PAC. Don't kid yourself.
By the way, nice 6-6 season in the MWC in 2010 - your last year in a conference. BYU is sure competetive there arn't they? Last season BYU had 9 layups and a 10th game that wasn't that tough. They lost to the 3 good teams they played and baddly against 2 of them. Come on over to the PAC 12 and see how you do.
In fact, let's see how you do this coming season. Even with the gimme' WAC lite schedule, BYU may not make a bowl game. I predict it's close. When BYU starts 1-3, you will feel what I am talking about.
