More on that subject: BYU has finished ranked 18 times in
the last 35 seasons. Also, in the last 35 seasons they have had players win:

4 Davey Obrien's
7 Sammy Baughs

1 Maxwell
1 Doak Walker
The Utes can crow all they want about their nifty accomplishments over the last 7 seasons, and their new conference affiliation, but they have a long way to go to match BYU in nationwide stature. Utes, and even some Cougars forget that sometimes.
