Whether we like it or not, Utah has the upper hand right now
and holds the position of power. College football is and forever will be "what have you done for me lately". The last 10 years Utah has made the bigger splash on the national stage (2 BCS wins) and was able to parlay it into a Pac-12 invite. When you couple all of this with the 54-10 beat down they gave us last year I can see where their arrogance is coming from. They see playing us as nothing more than a lose-lose situation and from a strategic standpoint, feel that they can gain more by not playing BYU.

We've heard it all before, this is a power play for Utah to put BYU into irrelevancy. Utah and the Pac feel that independence for BYU will leave them to die on the vine and they don't want to give them any way to validate themselves...

Right now, BYU can't be worried about what the Utes are doing. BYU needs to find a way to win and win at a higher level than what they've done under Bronco. As long of BYU takes care of themselves the tables will turn and they'll hold the position of power.

All I know is I can't wait for September 15th. If there ever was a time to blow out Utah, it is now. BYU needs to put them on their new path with the realization that they aren't as good as they think they are and that this plan of theirs has the potential to blow up in their face.
