There is NO WAY independence is better than being in a conference.

What conference crap?? Having meaningful games in October and Novemeber? Oh that really sucks... Our schedule against NMST and Idaho will propel us up to the top of the rankings for sure... Even with Texas, BSU, GA Tech, OSU and Wazzu on the schedule we still have to WIN!!!
There is no way that a committee of college football tools will let BYU into the top 4 unless we have a Notre Dame-type schedule and be undefeated something that has only happend once 30 years ago. So far Tom Holmoe hasn't done that for us and we better pray that the other BCS conferences don't pull PAC 10.2 crap and only have the first 3 weeks for OOC games. If that happens we are Yewted!!
So my point is that I am incredibly excited for this season but bummed for the future.
