Colorado was already in a BCS conference and they have a NC
to boot.
In fact Colorado has a very, very similar history to BYU. They just got into the Big 12 many years ago. They transfered BCS conferences they didn't get invited into the BCS for the first time like, Utah, TCU and BSU.
Not that strange that those three schools got in after all three had gone to 2 BCS bowls.
Your Colorado argument just doesn't hold up. They had also been invited to the PAC a couple of different times. For whatever reason, the PAC has always wanted them.
