Church Subsidy
I should probably clarify that the church subsidy comes in ways that are indirect, such as the ownership and funding of TV/Radio and channels of distribution. I might also add that as the church grows, it increases BYU's fan base and those stats are hard to quantify. It takes real dollars to get fans and to motivate them. The LDS Church benefits BYU in real cash terms.
