Utah has the upper hand? Jake Heaps laid a giant egg and that's why the score was 54-10.
If you call that having the upper hand then I guess so, but I don't see it that way.
Have you been paying attention to BYU recruiting? It's fantastic right now. I don't see a need to concede anything to Utah right now other than the fact that they won the game last year. Outside of that, things are very even.
Maybe you think they have the upper hand because of the PAC-12, but I actually prefer what BYU has going.
As for the rivalry game, BYU doesn't need it. If Utah thinks this, they are sorely mistaken. BYU can move on way easier than the vice versa. And since Utah won't play BYU in November, they are honestly of very little use to BYU at this point. I say move on.
