RMs are falling into that group. And I don’t think the 90% number is far off. It’s a real concern because young people aren’t seeing the need for religion as much and it’s affecting Mormons just like other religions.
Anyway, not that I’m privy to any of that-I’ve just had 2nd hand reports that there is great concern because of the alarming low retention rate among single adults. And attendance at a church university has a great impact on that. My take is because you’re more likely to marry another Mormon. And who you marry really determines what you’ll do as far as religion goes.
Of course that’s not bullet proof. I’ve got a couple of good friends who married at BYU in the temple and are now swingers. Or so I’ve heard...
