I know a lot of parents who love FB, but who don't want their kids to play.

because of the risks of CTE. That was *never* mentioned when I was a kid, asking my parents to sign me up. Everyone wanted their kid to be the star QB or punishing FB. Now, it's definitely waning in popularity. Throw in the payment to players and the right to unionize, and sue many years after the fact...
