I don't expect Taysom to pull himself out when he's having an off day, nor do I think it's appropriate to boo him because he looks slower than he did two years ago. He's a fighter and as long as he has anything left in the tank he'll be running out there any chance he gets. Until players get a real paycheck and stop being student athletes then I don't think it's fair for us to treat them like we would a NFL player.
The coaches on the other hand aren't students who just happen to play football a few weeks during the year. They're full time employees responsible for putting out a competitive product that people are willing to pay for. If you're going to cheer for their successes then I don't think there's anything inherently wrong with offering criticism as well.
Why is it that everyone freaks out when someone boos a college football coach yet when millions of people complain online about how stupid Apple is for eliminating a headphone jack no one bats an eye. At the end of the day both are just businesses with passionate customers.
Lapuaho is probably right that no one here or in that stadium would do a better job than Kalani or Ty and by the same token none of the people complaining online about Apple would make a better CEO, but as customers all of those people have the right to voice their opinions, whether positive or negative, because at the end of the day they're responsible for whether something succeeds or fails.
