Oh everyone was so mean at the game. Maybe BYU should designate a safe place in the stadium where only good things can be said so the players can feel good about their efforts.

In all seriousness I think the booing is dumb but you know what....... Big deal. Go on with it and don't let it bother you. Kid needs to grow up and mature a bit. Life is hard. People will do worse than boo you in life even when you busted your butt for years.
