There's nothing "stupid" related to self discipline and understanding that
however a player feels about fans in general, it is never a good idea to post it on social media. It is fraught with problems. If a player (or players) feel that is the way to have the back of his teammates' - he's misguided. There is a better way to deal with it besides a cyber hissy fit, where you run the risk of alienating the very fans (and donors) who make it possible for BYU to have a program. It makes no sense. While many here agree with the general sentiment of the angry post going after fans (myself included, as I was very surprised at the booing), the means of responding to it here is a very slippery slope. Very unwise, in my opinion.
