All the signs point to somebody that really doesn't know how to run an organization or provide consistent structure.
I think we've all seen this type of boss/manager in the workplace. That person just doesn't know how to manage and everybody ends up doing their own thing as result. Those type of bosses tend to play favorites and everything quickly ends in relative disaster.
I think Kalani falls into this category. He may be a nice guy, a good recruiter, a passionate representative of BYU, but he lacks the skills to run a large scale football program effectively. Or at least his philosophies don't mesh with what is needed to run good program.
