I can tell you that any racial problems on the team aren't new or haven't developed under his nose (as if here oblivious to any of it).
Think of other possibilities... the problem, maybe of not even hostile feelings toward one another, simply just a lack of ability to relate to one another, has always existed.
Make whatever take you want on how Kalani has dealt with it, but it didn't start with him, and it's the reason why we've been losing the recruiting battle for the best Polynesian talent (and large family support) for a number of years now at BYU.
