There seems to be a correlation with losing.
The offense was terrible. Disunity, undiscipline, anti-synergy, and whatever intangible buzzword that can be thrown out there cannot mask the reality that the offense was a train wreck coupled with a dumpster fire.

Lack of discipline does not make coaches watch Detmer jr. for 20 months and decide he is the next guy up.

Division in the locker room does not cause the offense to pass when running is working against a poor defense.... again and again.

Playing your guts out week after week while watching the coaches unable to put a game plan their players will execute WILL cause the locker room to fall apart.

Embarrassing losses to bad teams will make a team fall apart.

For the 658th time, the defense was not amazing, but they kept us in pretty much every game. Except for a couple flashes, the offense was among the bottom 10 of all teams and the absolute worst BYU offense the passing era.

This is like blaming a struggling kicker when every attempt you give them is beyond 40 yards. Let’s judge the defense when they have a shadow of support.
