This is what drove Bronco’s recruiting strategy
Bronco took a realistic look at BYU and said “what about this place Dan I sell to recruits?”
The biggest disadvantages BYU has aee (1) it’s location and (2) its religious affiliation.
Can’t do anything about the first. But can work to make the second disadvantage into also BYU’s biggest advantage - by getting every talented LDS kid you possibly can. And the only real way to do that is by making BYU as religiously distinguishable from every other school as possible. Play up BYU’s religious atmosphere, in other words, in order to distinguish BYU from any other school an LDS kid might be wanting to attend.

Weren't we in the 40s consistently as a MWC school? Indy will never work if we are stuck in the 60s.
