That is absolutely false, just like like college football.
Schools get players drafted. Just look at the draft stats by school over the past 25 years.

Schools and conferences get kids drafted because they play top competition. Just watch, Gonzaga's #2 team in the country last year had quite a few kids drafted. NONE of them will make it to the NBA and play significant minutes. That will perpetuate the argument that the WCC doesn't produce NBA talent. Therefore the schools and players in the WCC are not NBA worthy.

It is what it is, the guy above (SlippinJimmie) is right. BYU just doesn't produce NBA talent consistently. Fair or not, Eli would be smart to go to a bigger school if the NBA were his #1 goal.
