The previous post about Warner getting placed in the 2nd round despite a turd season tells you everything. If you can’t get eyes on you through actual playing time with a fairly high profile schedule like BYU has how do you think you’ll get any playing time at all on a team full of 4 and 5 star players?

Oh and do you have any interest in promoting your church by not only making BYU better but by making it more attractive to other high profile athletes who will want to come with you?

Think if we get McKee... how many high profile WRs would think about coming to BYU to catch passes from that dude? His mission could be more playing for BYU then being an actual missionary.

I totally believe if a kid is teetering on serving a mission just don’t go and play for BYU... that is a major service to the church and he loses nothing other than the possible football prestige of saying they played for Bama (which would fade quickly as soon as football is over). BYU stands for something (which is speculated as the reason we didn’t get the big 12 invite) if you agree with that identity stand with BYU not the others that stand against it or for nothing.
