If husband and wife teach in a decent paying state it is a great

Living.

In my state, if husband and wife teach and start at 23 by 33, they will be making a combined $150k with summer's off! If they save one salary for the first few years, and wait until 30 for kids, they will be set and the wife could stop by 33 or 35.
