We have enslaved an entire educated generation to the government

When the government collects on the defaults, I've seen families ruined by divorce and poverty. The removal of student loans from dischargeability was the stupidest decision we ever made because it encourages schools and bankers to load up their customers with debt without any economic rationality to the lending.
