Have a family friend who is doing the same thing

The wife went to PT school. Husband went to law school. Together they racked up about $500k in loans. Now they have a nice home in a ritzy area, gardener, nanny, vacations, etc. and complain about not being able to make payments to cover the interest on their loans.

Am I supposed to feel bad about that?
