problem that I cannot imagine Sitake has changed dramatically. It's too bad he can't speak publicly about his team in a more neutral way that does not single out certain members for scorn - be it subtle or not so subtle. Good coaches don't pull such stunts. If there was a lax culture that adversely influenced Tanner and left him unprepared, then Sitake was totally at fault for that. He should have simply stated publicly that they have made some significant changes in how they prepare for the season to help the players prepare better and leave it at that. Singling out Tanner in a negative way (as he clearly did) is counterproductive.
