Weird situation. I was walking around the neighborhood. (health walk) I stick to the sidewalks. I came around a rather blind area on the sidewalk and briefly made eye contact with a good sized dog. It didn't make a sound, but charged right at me running. Thought I was dead. The owner had tied the dog to a rope with way too much slack. I was in the street before the dog ran out of rope. It jerked back so hard I'm surprised it didn't break its neck. Scared the begeebees out of me. (A kid on the sidewalk could have been killed) Ticked me off royally.
