Happens all the time with Runners at our house.
We will be working in the yard etc and the gate is open.
I truly feel bad for them, scares the tar out of them. They stop dead in their tracks with the look the fear on their face. ( I feel bad for them). To date mine hasn't left the yard but no guarantees. I would be afraid of my dog if I didn't know him.
But that story is priceless.
