As usual, thanks for all the different views and perspectives CB gives. I admit
my fault and responsibility not keeping my dog in my house. Had I don't that none of this would have happened. My empathy for mailman has increased from this discussion also.
Honestly, I just needed to vent after seeing my 4 year old go through that knowing that my dog was not going to bite the mailman (I know, I know, it only takes once), but he didn't know if my dog was harmless or not.
I guess I just want to say that I'm trying my best to be fair to all parties, and that I know I'm biased, but I'm trying not to be.
