about 6AM in the summer and I was just trying to earn some extra coin. I did the same thing as you, turned a blind corner and there was a some sort of doberman mix, big dog, just growling at me. No rope, no chain. I slowly walked backwards and it followed at the same pace, and then it would start to sprint at me and then stop within inches and walk again, until I would get about 20 feet away, then it would sprint again. It was early, no cars, no neighbors, no help. This was about a 10 min ordeal until it finally got too far from home. One of the more terrifying moments of my life. To this day, I'm pissed at whoever owned that dog.
